All of our products are handmade in our studio in Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA.
Why is this important to you? The news is full of stories about tainted products coming out of China.
There is no better time to purchase safe products that are made here in the USA where the FDA establishes stringent guidelines for safety. Treat your family to soaps made with food grade oils from Patti's Potions Natural Soaps, Ltd.

Q: How long will my artisan shea butter soaps last?
A: This is a frequently asked question from our customers. The answer is simply that it is based on the user and the care given the product.
I'm the only one who uses the soap in my bathroom and I generally get a full month out of each bar. In a bathroom with multiple uses, the time may be less.
Any soap will become mushy if left in a puddle of water.
We do not use filler oils in our soaps, nor do we compress and squeeze out the natural glycerin like the big boys do. With proper care of your soaps, you will enjoy weeks of fragrant bathing.
Our soaps require one simple action from you to maximize the life of the soap bar. When not in use, keep your fine, handcrafted soaps in a dry environment. Let them dry between usage.

Use a soap deck at your sink and in your shower.
You may also purchase an inexpensive plastic soap holder with suction cups for your shower and place them above and away from the water flow. I get mine at my local hardware store.

Oak Soap Decks
Now available in 3 colors!
The handcrafted soap decks are back in stock and better than those previously offered! Thank you Joe and Erin for your fine workmanship!
These are made from oak and measure 3.5" x 3.25" x .5" and fit our soaps perfectly.
The grooves serve a dual purpose. They allow the excess water to drain off which is really important for a long life of your soap, and when your soap gets thinner, you can place them vertically in the groove for greater efficacy in the drying process.

Handmade 100% Natural Cotton Washcloths
What could be better to use on your body than this all-cotton washcloth! My customers say that these are so much better than the terry cloth ones that you purchase at the big box stores.
Grandma Be Eder makes these generous sized 9" x 9" rectangles.
She has been busy this winter and has found some lovely new patterns and colors.
Care of these handmade washcloth couldn't be easier. Just toss them in the washer and dryer along with the rest of your laundry! What could be simpler and more eco-friendly than this?
TIP: You can make your own attractive gifts that are self wrapped by placing a pretty ribbon around the edges of the washcloth with a bar of soap inside.
For this one I used some raffia and a botanical.
Keep it simple and natural for the best results.

Hi, Patti.
My three lovely shamrock washcloths came yesterday. You made them very special by commenting about your mother. She’s the craftswoman who made them, right? I feel honored that I was able to snatch the only three you had! Please tell her they were purchased as gifts for my daughter, granddaughter and me, in celebration of the precious circle we embody: maiden, mother, crone! They are soft , lovely, and obviously lovingly crafted! The perfect small gift was shipped off to my daughter and granddaughter in Cali yesterday!
Thanks for joining our celebration
Bright blessings to you and yours-
